Installation

Recommended: Install from the Atlassian Marketplace listing

The easiest way to install the app is directly from the Atlassian Marketplace:

  1. Open the Marketplace listing for Cascading Custom Fields for Jira (Multilevel Select List).

  2. Click Try it free / Get it now.

  3. Select the Jira Cloud site you want to install the app on.

  4. Follow the installation prompts to complete the setup.

Alternative: Install from inside Jira Cloud

  1. In Jira, open Settings (⚙️) in the top navigation.

  2. Select Apps.

  3. Click Find apps (sometimes shown as “Find new apps” depending on your admin UI).

  4. Search for Cascading Custom Fields for Jira (Multilevel Select List).

  5. Select the app and click Get app (or Start free trial) to complete the installation.

Verify the installation

After the installation finishes:

  1. Go to Settings → Apps and open the installed apps list (e.g., Manage apps / Connected apps depending on your admin experience).

  2. Find Cascading Custom Fields for Jira (Multilevel Select List) and confirm it is Enabled.

Note: The app does not provide a dedicated configuration page. After installation, it becomes available via new custom field types in Jira.

  • Read Jira project and issue data, search for issues, and objects associated with issues like attachments and worklogs.

  • Create and edit issues in Jira, post comments as the user, create worklogs, and delete issues.

Data storage, sharing, receiving, and processing:
This Marketplace app will store and process data exclusively within Atlassian apps and services. Some exceptions may apply, depending on the settings configured for analytics and logs.

Data residency

This Marketplace app stores End-User Data exclusively within Atlassian apps and services that support data residency options.
