Jira Service Management (Forge limitation)
Due to the current state of the Atlassian Forge platform, we can’t guarantee full support for Jira Service Management (JSM).
For example:
The custom fields may work in the agent view, but not in the customer portal (request forms).
Required fields
Required fields are supported in Jira Software projects.
Transition screens
Editing custom fields on transition screens only works if the new transition experience is enabled in Jira.
Custom field configuration size limit (32,768 characters)
Jira has a limit of 32,768 characters for custom field configurations. If you use a very large number of entries (for example in Prime Select List (deep cascading) or Prime To-Do List), you may eventually be unable to add additional entries.
Recommendation
If you reach this limit, split the configuration into multiple custom fields with smaller configurations.
